About the Teachers

Hannah Cabrera has taught language for the last 6 years. She tutored ESL students at BYU-Hawaii, taught English at a private school in Hermosillo, Mexico, has tutored students in both English and Spanish, and taught an adult ESL program in Provo City School District. She piloted a children's summer program for learning English in Mexico. Hannah studied Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) at Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Latin American Studies. She has been studying Spanish for the last ten years. She has lived in Mexico, Honduras, and Peru. She has a great love for the language, the culture and the people.

Diego Cabrera was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Before coming to the United States, Diego was studying law at the University of San Marcos in Lima.

Lucia Cabrera is our honorary teacher. She joined our team May 16, 2013 and has been voted the Cutest Teacher Ever. She won't be teaching much Spanish, but she'll be learning it right along with our other students!
